Kristin Collins, LPC, LCMHC, CMPC

Kristin is the founder of Match Point Mentality, a mental performance consulting practice dedicated to helping athletes and performers build the mental skills necessary for consistent, confident performance. As a Certified Mental Performance Consultant, administered by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA), with a background in both competitive athletics and psychology, Kristin integrates evidence-based mental skills training with real-world sport experience.

Kristin has over 10 years of experience working with individuals and high-performing populations and has supported student-athletes through her work with collegiate athletic programs, including Duke University, Slippery Rock University, and Westminster College. Her work focuses on developing confidence, focus, emotional regulation, resilience, and performance consistency under pressure, skills that translate beyond sport into leadership, academics, and life.

A former collegiate volleyball player at Juniata College and a former assistant coach for the Slippery Rock University Women’s Volleyball program, Kristin brings a firsthand understanding of the mental demands placed on athletes and performers. Her approach is collaborative, practical, and rooted in helping individuals perform at their best while staying aligned with their values.

Kristin holds professional counseling licenses in Pennsylvania and North Carolina. While Match Point Mentality does not provide psychotherapy or diagnose mental health conditions, her clinical training informs an ethical, trauma-aware, and athlete-centered approach to mental performance education and consulting.
